In 2021, I started writing this book about the captivating story behind the creation of America's top-selling toy line of 1989, Dino-Riders.

I hope this book takes you on a journey through the innovative ideas and creative minds that brought this beloved toy line to life. From its initial concept to its rise as a cultural phenomenon,
Dino-Riders captured the imaginations of children and became a staple of late 1980s childhood.

Now owned by Mattel, the enduring legacy of Dino-Riders continues to thrive. In the wake of Barbie's massive box office success and the highly anticipated release of the Masters of the Universe film, one could argue that Dino-Riders must be on Mattel's shortlist for a major movie adaptation. However, as you explore the origins of this iconic toy line, you might find yourself thinking that the behind-the-scenes saga—filled with intriguing anecdotes and pivotal moments—would make an even more compelling movie than the fictional story of the Dino-Riders themselves!
